ADOT’s Multimodal Planning Division (MPD) tackled data silos caused by disconnected information systems, which led to duplicative data collection and poor data quality.To meet federal reporting requirements, MPD implemented a geospatial system to manage core data but found other divisions managing overlapping transportation data separately.
