The USGS’s new 3D Hydrography Program (3DHP), is an initiative to comprehensively remap the Nation’s hydrography using high-quality Lidar. 3DHP improves the locational accuracy of mapped streams, increases the mapping density of headwater streams, and provides a network-addressable hydrographic framework.
